Expressing gratitude for the President’s address in Rajya Sabha on Friday, RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha emphasized the need for compassion for the government in this time of violence and said the biggest threat to India’s democracy comes from “worshiping a hero”.
Jha accused the government of dividing the country by religion. He also said that those who tried to confuse the writings of the past ended up in the footnotes of history.
It amazes me that Pakistan is not fighting for elections in our (Indian) name, but our election is in Pakistan… World history is proof that anyone who has tried to tamper with the past, tried to change it, is gone. at the top of the footnotes of history. History has not changed, ”he said.
Jha also referred to the recent railway job seekers’ strike by the Railway Board (RRB).
“The president spends his day talking to his advisers, watching television, looking at social media and having conversations. Does he not feel that what he sees in the world is not good? Tears welled up in the eyes of the students … what did they want? They did not ask for a month. They were asking for jobs. Not the ones who pay Rs 2 crore, they say give us anything left over. You told us to charge them. I think if the President’s speech does not have these problems, the speech will just be like paper, ”he said.
He said the President’s speech should be an impartial statement. “The President is the President of the country. His concern should be a matter of national concern, ”he said.
Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi among strong nations cannot be built by insecure governments but can only be built where both strengths and weaknesses are its is kept before the world.
“We have heard the President’s speech very carefully… after listening to his speech it was as if our country had entered the golden age; our youth are very happy, have jobs, our women are very happy, safe and politically powerful. It looks like the average person doesn’t have any problems of any kind, ”he said.
“But the truth is in front of the world, and I hope and believe that strong nations are not built by insecure governments or insecure leadership. Strong countries can only be built where we can keep both good and bad in front of the world. ”
Chaturvedi said the President’s speech did not address the dead farmers during the farmers’ protest against the Center farm Bills.
