Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband of pop music star Nick Jonas have recently become parents of their first child by birth. Priyanka, 39, and Nick, 29, shared the good news on their Instagram accounts at midnight on January 22. Although Priyanka and Nick declined to disclose their sexual orientation, numerous reports on social media sites suggest that the couple have adopted a baby girl.
Their baby was reportedly born 12 weeks in hospital in Southern California, where he will remain healthy enough to return home to Nick-Priyanka, a source told DailyMail.com. The couple was reportedly expecting their baby in April and Priyanka had already canceled her work schedule to accept motherhood.
However, recent reports suggest that Priyanka may have dropped out of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s ‘Jee Le Zara’ starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. The actress wants to have her baby girl, reports Bollywood Hungama.
The makers of the ‘Jee Le Zara’ are also said to be concerned after announcing the good news. According to Bollywood Hungama, Priyanka wants to give her time and energy to her first child. The report also suggests that the producers, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, are exploring alternatives to Priyanka’s role in the film.
Jee Le Zara was announced last year. Paid as a road trip drama, the film is produced by Exhan Entertainment by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani, and Tiger Baby, directed by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
Farhan Akhtar said he was looking forward to working on the film, which he announced when he turned 20 when he started directing ‘Dil Chahta Hai’.
