Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is being held in solitary confinement after a family member and one of his staff members were tested for COVID-19 on Sunday.
“My family member and one of my staff members were tested for COVID-19 yesterday. I was tested negative today. However, the doctor advised me to stay alone and try again in a few days, ”Ms Vadra, who is leading the Congress campaign on the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, wrote on Twitter on Monday.
Sources said Ms Vadra was due to speak at a press conference in Lucknow on Monday, but canceled all her plans.
